The Person Behind the Projects

Every project I take on gets the same person writing the words, building the pages, and setting the strategy behind them, so nothing gets lost in a handoff that never should’ve happened.

About Me

I’m Ashfaaq, a marketing strategist in Malappuram. I build and write websites for online coaches and local businesses across Kerala. Copy, design, and SEO, all from one desk.

Most agencies split those three across three people who never talk to each other. A copywriter hands off to a designer who never read the brief. The designer hands off to an SEO person who shows up after the layout’s already locked. That’s usually why the site looks good but says nothing, or reads well but loads slow, or ranks fine and converts nobody.

I started the way most people in this field do: teaching myself from YouTube tutorials and forum threads, then freelancing on real projects long before I had a name for what I was doing. That worked, up to a point. It got me clients, but it also meant I was guessing at a lot of fundamentals I’d never actually been taught. I later went through CDA Academy‘s digital marketing program to close those gaps: the strategy, the systems, and the parts of the craft that self-teaching alone tends to skip.

Technical Skills

As a digital marketing specialist in Malappuram, I build every site myself, front to back. HTML and CSS when the project needs custom work, Elementor and WordPress when speed matters more than a bespoke build, Figma before either. No dev handoff, no passing it to a team, no “I’ll check with our developer and get back to you.” If something breaks after launch, or needs to move, or just needs a button two shades darker, I’m the one who opens the file and fixes it. Usually the same day.

Strategy

As a freelance digital marketer in Malappuram, I write the copy, build the pages, and handle the SEO myself. You’re not managing three freelancers to launch one campaign. You’re talking to the one person building it, every step of the way.

That means fewer status calls, fewer “let me check with the designer,” and nothing lost in the handoff. What you approve is what ships.

Marketing Skills

This is the half people notice last: the words and the strategy behind them. As a growth marketer in Malappuram, I build the funnel logic first and let the design carry it, because a site that looks great but doesn’t move anyone toward a decision isn’t doing its job.

TOOLS

Tools I Use :

Clarity

Clarity beats clever. If a visitor has to work to understand what you offer, they’ll leave before they convert. I write and design for instant comprehension.

Strategy

There’s behind everything. Every page, headline, and call-to-action exists to move a visitor one step closer to a decision, not to fill space.

Design

Design isn’t decoration. Every layout, color, and spacing decision is made to guide the visitor toward one specific action. A beautiful website that doesn’t convert is still a broken website.

Empathy

Good copy starts with understanding the person reading it, not the product being sold. I write from the visitor’s actual hesitations, not assumptions about what they should care about.

Iterate

Most people think  launch is the finish line. It’s not. I track what’s working after a site goes live and refine based on real behavior. No guessgame.

Insight

Every decision is backed by something real, whether that’s user behavior data, search intent, or direct feedback from the people actually using the site.

TENETS

Principles I Stick With

Six words on a wheel are easy to write. What’s harder is checking every headline, every layout, every line of copy against them before it ships, especially on the days when the faster option would work just as well on the surface. Clarity, strategy, design, empathy, insight, and iteration only mean something if they show up in the work itself, not just in a list like this one.
